About Me

With more than nine years of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, and communication, I specialize in building and managing comprehensive and scalable campaigns for a wide range of directives and industries. I leverage my extensive background in paid social, digital and traditional advertising, branding, copywriting, analytics, website optimization, lead acquisition, and graphic design to create advocacy and marketing initiatives designed to convert based on core KPIs, directly engaging members of the public to take action and achieve measurable results.

As a Principal at Stones River Group, a Silver Anvil-Winning Public and Government Relations Firm, I have led digital and creative strategy for a range of development, advocacy, and education clients, including Nashville Yards, City Fund Action, WM, Harvard, The National Civil Rights Museum, Emerald Youth Foundation, The Union Station Nashville Yards, Autograph Collection, Grand Hyatt Nashville, and UT Knoxville Baker School of Public Policy's "You Might Be Right" Podcast. Using Meta, X, LinkedIn, and Google’s artificial intelligence-based algorithms to target campaigns and create audience funnels, I have helped these clients generate significant attributed revenue and qualified leads.

I also provide public relations and communications support, including writing press releases and promotional content, pitching and managing press, and developing presentations, infographics, outreach materials, website copy and SEO, and optimized landing pages.

My work has been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Nashville Chapter, including the organization’s 2023 "Best of Show” Award and multiple Parthenon Awards for "Best Use of Data and Analytics," "Public Affairs," "Community Relations," and "Content Marketing."

Prior to joining the SRG team, I served as a Copywriter at Drive Social Media, where I worked with 50+ clients in the restaurant, retail, entertainment, franchising, fitness, law, and service industries. A few of my local favorites include the Nashville Downtown Partnership, the Nashville Symphony, and Nashville Ballet.

Before moving to Music City, I worked as the Manager of Marketing & Communication for the Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation in North Carolina. There, I created organic social media, articles, and infographics that engaged and informed while encouraging further action from community members. I also aggressively geo-targeted decision-makers at trade shows and fully leveraged our successful projects, boosting generated press to C-suites across the East Coast.

I’m proud to serve on the board of Shower The People, a local non-profit that provides mobile shower laundry services to people experiencing homelessness.

When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and fishing at Tennessee State Parks, trying new recipes, and attending live jam, rock, and jazz events at venues across Nashville. Fun fact: I’m also a classically trained pianist (although a bit rusty), and you can find me every Monday evening playing guitar at my local bluegrass jam.
